“Life is Theatre. Theater is life. If we’re showing what life is, can be, we must do theatre.”

~ Fefu and her Friends by Maria Irene Fornes

About

How can Theater reveal truths about our world if not all of the world is represented onstage?

I direct complicated, mysterious, thrilling, charming narratives that break open biases & uplift traditionally devalued stories.

I value joy in the rehearsal room, cultivate each performer’s unique point of view, and find flaws in live performance beautiful.

I passionately uncover and develop new works to reclaim the canon.

Theater has the power to change ideas & values, reveal experiences and through our stories, expose a raw nerve buried inside ourselves.
